Having lived part-time and boxed professionally in Mexico for 5 years, I know far more about illegal immigration than most. I was in Mexico when President Trump vacated the White House and saw how practically everyone "south of the border" debated coming to America. 

Word on the street was that Biden was giving asylum to everyone who asked. All you had to do was reach the border and say the right things. People were sending WhatsApp messages with asylum instructions. Millions made the journey to cross the border for this reason. 

Most had no idea what was on the other side of the wall. They just heard it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to get asylum from the Democrats who wanted as many immigrants as possible because they thought it’d benefit their political party. 

Open borders are cruel for everyone including the immigrants that Democrats swindle into coming here only to enter and become stuck in America, often unhappy, and unable to see their family members ever again because asylum traps them. 

Why illegal immigration is cruel

Indefinitely separates families
Millions of people that came to America and requested asylum are stuck here indefinitely separated from Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa. Legal immigrants can take trips home. Those who enter illegally or request asylum cannot. 

Destabilizes foreign countries
Open borders stop citizens from investing in and improving their home countries. It destabilizes and harms struggling nations. We help other countries when we focus their citizens on improving their home countries and hurt them when we promote open borders. 

Harms America workers and families 
Illegals and asylum seekers who make it into America are stuck here, often unhappily, competing with American workers for jobs. They have no choice but to accept substandard wages which drives down wages for hard working Americans. 

Causes death and rape
Untold numbers of young girls who come here illegally get raped during the journey. Democrats, who like to morally grandstand about helping immigrants, should be reminded that their policies caused all these rapes. And, while you're at it, remind them they are responsible for everyone that died making the journey too. 

Increases crime and terrorism
Many countries took advantage of open borders to send their criminals our way. Foreign murderers, rapists and drug dealers are in our country because of Democrats. And, many illegals who came with good intentions turn to crime when things don't go as well as they hoped. Worst of all, no one knows how many terrorists used Biden’s policies to enter America.

Only legal immigration is humane

Democrats don't understand that open borders hurt the rest of the world as much as they hurt us. They destabilize struggling nations and separate families. Untold numbers of young girls were raped because of Democrat policy and many died too. 

President Trump had the foresight to make illegal immigration the top issue of his 2016 campaign. Democrats mocked him for it, but he was always right to demand strong borders. Millions have poured into our country because of Democrat stupidity. I don't envy President Trump being tasked with fixing this mess but trust he will solve it effectively. 

Given my own understanding of the issue, I am eager to help President Trump solve it as the next Congressman from New York’s 21st Congressional district. We are a border district that's on the front lines of the border crisis. No one running is more equipped to fight for border security and for all immigration to be legal better than me.
